The Direct Animal Crossing New Horizons Bells was designed to focus on the first half of 2021, but they spent a lot of time on matches that aren't coming out this season in any way.

Where would be the Nintendo games? They had to mention a game that's already published (Super Mario 3D World) just to add padding to this Direct. Skyward Sword is cool and all, but that's just one match so far this calendar year, and it'll be a $60 port.

So far as first-party franchises go, I still think that one's fairly weak. I haven't looked at sales numbers, but I can not imagine it holds a game against Zelda, mainline Mario, Mario Kart, or Animal Crossing.

Splatoon 3 is not coming out in 2021. I'd have rather seen something else that I can get excited about right now.

Besides that, I buy Nintendo consoles for your Nintendo games. Apart from Skyward Sword, I didn't observe any heavy-hitters out of Nintendo.

I was hyped for this guide but it did nothing for me. All the matches I would be enthusiastic for I could get sooner, cheaper, and in better quality (Outer Wilds) or I'd otherwise be considering getting (SS, Mario Golf) should not be $60 IMO.

Ever since I got a PS5 I have not really touched my switch as why would I spend $60 to a 10-15 hour match when I can pay $10/month for PS Plus and buy 3 new really excellent buy bells animal crossing new horizons a month and the PS Plus set which is all AAA games for free. It just does not make sense from a user perspective
