And while later ones like Legion or Battle for Azeroth would feel out-of-place inside the Classic framework, it makes sense that some players may choose to experience World of Warcraft Classic Gold earlier expansions--such as The Burning Crusade or Wrath on the Lich King--in the context of World of Warcraft Classic. Blizzard isn't checking out this, and also hasn't ruled out.
"The community's need for WoW Classic means that we did WoW Classic," said Birmingham. "So were certainly offered to hearing exactly who think about it. At the same time what we're also focused on right this moment is WoW Classic. That's what were committed to delivering. We don't have plans to announce anything past that."
