I believe Madden has the permit

  • My question and idea is, is what's stopping 2k from making a blitz style game, advertising that as their primary game mode, then making a sim/franchise part of Mut 20 coins and just calling it an add-on match style? Or dlc franchise mode? Likely can not do that if they do not possess the license for a sim NFL game. If I were 2K, I'd make an"arcade style" like Madden's Arcade setting (rather arcade-like, but mostly much like sim; e.g. nothing like Blitz) except make it 8v8 if they have to so as to abide by the arcade permit legal language, whatever that involves. Actual demonstration, commentary, franchise/Coach style, My GM manner, etc. just with 8v8 or whatever it takes to satisfy the permit of an"arcade" game.

So that later on you can just turn a few dials and you have got an 11v11 sim game if that license becomes available. If not, you can launch a company game that shares all the resources, however you can replace the roster and the logos and phone it All Pro Football 2K22 or whatever (and allow modding/editing so players can mod Madden 20 NFL with NFL logos and custom rosters with NFL player titles ) that really does 11v11 simulation football.

I don't believe EA or 2K are bum to be honest. I think most of the issues that affect NBA 2K and Madden are it's forced the programmers to cater to that subset that is small also that a small fraction of this market spends a substantial quantity of money on micro-transactions. Consequently leaves them developmental resources to further the other"older" facets of Madden 20 NFLs, which is what causes the majority of the negative comments already aimed at either on social media.I can totally imagine a situation where 2K begins laying a lot of the preparation for when the license becomes available, so that they could more easily transition should they do work out something using the NFL. I believe Madden has the permit until EA renews until like 2030 lmao, through 2021, which could make the time a little tight. I think 2K is currently gon na have their hands full building a football game that is good from scratch punctually, and making sure to deal with the fundamental issues fans have had with Madden for more than ten years.

EA does not want the NFL letting somebody else making"simulation football" since they know their franchise mode fucking sucks, and directly behind that they understand their gameplay glitches are cheap Madden 20 coins not too far away. They understand they've failed franchise mode for years and just like complacent institutions they would like to put off fixing it as long as you can. If 2k could earn a franchise style in football that was similar to the one they create within their own basketball games, they'd crush it.I'd love more in depth contracts. Let me front load this dude on a 5 year deal. I would also like to have the ability to sign dudes prior to the last year of their deal. Those are new items, they crap they eliminated in the last few years.
