  Frankly, I'd enjoy more content from OSRS for RS3. We obtained Anachronia as our response to cheap RS gold Fossil Island, I'd really love some of the guilds, skilling tools and guilds they have. "Plenty" is a stretch, but yes, the teams do work somewhat together and do copy their assignments, however, OSRS has more of RS3 than RS3 has of OSRS. It's not something to flex, we have to bear in mind that RS3 has had more time, development, and thought put in to mechanics and systems. It's simpler to replicate something which has proven to be"good" rather than trying to make up your own ideas.
  
  OSRS is gradually becoming just another RS3 fork and so a lot of don't even recognize it. Individuals even pushing Runelite HD, additional skills, places from RS3, and more from RS3. Because as long as it's not EoC, MTX, or insanely powercreeped, the majority of people don't mind new developments as long as they are well balanced. Hell, many people desired a 2011-2012 replica of RuneScape but had to settle for 2007, which will be gradually coming closer to the pre-eoc feel.Seriously it is amazing just how much I hear folks on RS3 bitch about dung while I absolutely loved that update. Just sucks weapons only have 1 attack style now (used to have the ability to use 2h to slash and crush that covered nearly every style you needed).
  
  I am sure, not everyone would stop since some would enjoy buying ranks/levels/etc. Gold farmers like Vene's would still be playing only because it is better than their jobs, MTX or not. But there'd still be a massive drop in players, particularly with the way one-sided the current poll was for the sponsor-mtx that were just purely cosmetic items. Bonds are far worse MTX than cosmetics and yet most OSRS players haven't quit.
  
  They might try, but most people really wanted bonds. People were buying OSRS gold for real money from day 1, so letting them do it through jagex really didn't change anything there, all it did was allow people to pay for their membership with ingame gold.This is hilarious, they could barely make content I dont believe they're in a position to hold it hostage, all 3 dozen individuals setting up with their shit would likely just proceed.
  
  Sorry, I should have stated they wouldn't quit if it was cosmetic only MTX. Mat K talked about this and it is over 90 percent of players don't desire buyable exp (internal tests via encouraging players over). They would quit. However, if RS3 wasnt profitable anymore they would forcefully put MTX onto 07 to make up gains, but makeup only. They also said they'd only agree with cosmetic just MTX if it had been an absolute must for runescape 2007 gold to stay alive. 07 is steadily declining in players, so eventually it will probably get to this point.
