MyTeam is easy to play. Where the microtransactions are myCareer is. Allow me to say this, the microtransactions with 2k are greatly ingrained in the MyCareer mode. The build system is misleading in you have to sink time or/and money into a build just to find out it has a weakness because of a patch or gameplay. Then you need to replicate and do it again. Having said that, I play 2k21 buy mt and I play with MUT. 2k gameplay is infinitely more fun/balanced/true to game (with a few exceptions) than Madden is to football. Far better, although it's not perfect but any way. The attention to detail is much better. Connected Franchise has not depth and detail than MyGM. The microtransactions are there though for certain. I think once you're started, it's easy to build though.
