How can you hit pictures in NBA2K21?

  • Stick when grab and take or post disappear. Button from anywhere in close. Works for me but it took a bit of MT NBA 2K21 practice. Isn't it harder to select your layup if you use button? I've always struggled with these controls and utilized stick for layups. I'd LOVE to be shooting at 40% but I am blessed if I can hit 20%. I only play offline. I know we've scrub players at this time, and I am a below average player but badly even layups that are in the middle of the meter aren't going in. I don't even dare to try a jump shot. The AI seems to be ridiculous levels as well. I know they want to reward ability in 2k21 but this type of material will really put off casual players and those new the 2K franchise and also brand new to basketball games.

I have been playing since 2K13 but I have never been that great of a participant. My starter players've never played this bad in 2k16,17,18,19 and 20. The only other 2K I played before 2K20 was 2K13 and which has been on PC. However, this is a completely different level with a completely different mechanic. I did ok in the demo and at the quickgames using the new shooting meter but can't hit the side of a barn here.

Only played with the demo, but the stick was a great deal more dependable than button for me. I have been a button guy too. . . Genuinely shooting 2/16 in an offline triple threat game on only layups and 1 open jumpshot that airballed on slightly early. Spent $100 with this bullshit lmao. Person that the shooting is additional nice right now but I would recommend shot timing like look for the que about the animation.

Yep I'm having trouble with it as well. Launched a match on My team heading 0/12 missing open 3s and midsize shots all around the place. I'm all for them toning down shots being nearly automatic but the system looks a tiny bit too unforgiving up to Buy NBA 2K21 MT now. Hopefully will begin to get better after a couple more games of becoming used to it. The game came out and we have ta new meter using slightly different timing.
