It was something I observed in OSRS Items the past that people believed that the slayerdart didn't an effect on magical bonuses. However, it's been so widely spread that it's now considered to be fake. Yet, a lot users still make use of it. Here is a guy who has already reached 91magic and is very high in general. He used slayerdart to increase his xp by 400k. If he'd utilized firewave (which provides the same power but with more knowledge), he might have gained 1.25m.
My friend will do barrows in a few days and i advised him a number of times to not employ slayerdart, but to use earth wave (can't use fire wave at the moment) as it provides more experience and does similar to. I saw him for two minutes prior to when he asked me to check his attire. SLAYER DART
