Diablo 2 Resurrected Potions Tips

  • Although potions aren't essential to survive in Diablo II, most characters have already hit point regeneration equipment or mana and/or life leech. However, they are essential in emergency situations and against more powerful monsters.

Drinking potions is simple due to the way the belt functions. There are only four slots the available slots, however you can choose to have eight, twelve or 16 slots on a belt, with the other layers stacked up in a hidden area until you hover your pointer over the belt. If you drink a potion, any layers up over it will drop as if a vending machine, keeping the bottom row for as long as it is it is. The belt can also be restocked by taking potions. You can stack potions so that you have columns of blue, red or purple.

There are many specialty potions that are used to treat mana, healing and rejuvenation. These include those that can be used to treat poison or thawing, as well as increase stamina. There are even drinks that you wouldn't drink, even if it was permitted to drink them.

    Fill Rate

The healing and mana potions fill in time, which is around 5.12 seconds for all mana potions and various healing potions. You gain 40 points per second for each 200 point potions you consume. This amounts to approximately 5 minutes.

Drinking two or more potions at once can result in total points getting added up. In just 10 seconds, you can consume an 50-point drink and a 200-point one at the same time. This will give you 250 points. It's around 25 points per second. You should not drink more minor potions as you will be less filled than if you had the bigger amount. This can be bad if you're in an emergency and out of rejuvenation potions.

You can combine and average similar to when you have one potions filling and then drinking another. The second potion can be added to the quantity you had left over from the first.

    Double Fill Potions

There is a chance to earn double the points if you consume a blue or red potion and you'll get the usual 5.12 seconds. This is a fun feature that's not well known however it is quite useful. The steps below will help you determine this:

Select a random integer A, that is, between 0 and (Vitality/Energy 1) (inclusive).

Select a random number B between zero (inclusive) and 99 (exclusive).

You're in luck if A is more than B! You gain double health/mana.

The opportunity to receive double healing is:

    If Vit is unusual:

    Chance % = (Vit.-1) 2. (Vit. * 4)

    If Vit is indeed:

    % chance = (Vit 2) * 4

It can be approximated as (Vit/4 = percent double heal). It is possible to substitute Vitality for energy to determine your Mana Potions probabilities. They are the same in every other way. It is a.25 percent chance for each stat point, 1% per 4 stats points and 5% per 20.

This is the case up to 200 points of Energy or Vitality. The odds of winning decreases to 200 if you exceed the threshold.

    Chance % = 100 (/10100 / Vit).

    The Healing Potions

Consuming a healing potion will fill a certain number of points every time, depending on the potion type and what class your character belongs to. These figures are identical for D2 or D2X.

    Mana Potions

Mana replenishes itself and is leeched back in D2 and D2X, so most warriors do not gain a point in Energy, and get enough mana from leech and other items. Mana potions can be used to fill a specific number of points depending on the type of item and class you're. The five original Diablo II characters have steady rates, which remain unchanged with the Expansion The Assassin and Druid have more erratic statistics.

Each type of Rejuvenation potion is susceptible to the double effect that all health and mana potions are able to do, as explained at the top of the page. No matter your stats or Clvl, it will always be able to get 35% to 100%. If your character is high in hit points or mana partial rejuves are able to be more powerful than super healing or mana potions.

    Potions to throw

To throw an alcoholic drink, equip the stack in the weapon slot. Choose throw with the left/right button and choose to throw. Dual-wielding barbarians can have two stacks of potion or a potion with one hand. You can switch between throwing potion and throwing potion in the Expansion by using your weapon switch slot.

Each character can throw potions at exactly the same speed, have the same distance (anywhere you can aim with a straight line of sight) All potions move at the identical speed when they fly in the air. It takes several minutes for a drink to get to its intended target since they are thrown within an arch.

Exploding potions come with a radius that targets within the radius will take the full damage. Poison potions produce a gas cloud that lasts for a variable amount of time. All targets who pass through the cloud during the time it is in existence will turn green and will take the full damage. The damage from poison potion is not stackable. If you hit a monster whilst it is still green, the damage taken over the period is reset.

Exploding potions deal fire and physical damage. The one or both of these potions may be resisted or absorbed by monsters. Total damage assumes no resistances.

To get this item, monsters must be at this level or higher.

Potions that are thrown can add as high as 10 in D2 and 25 at the D2X. They can be purchased and dropped as individual items in D2. They are not available for purchase in the Expansion. Monsters drop them in three stacks.

There aren't any Elite or Exceptional throwing potions. The ones that you can see are the only ones you can get. They are too weak to use on higher difficulty levels, so their primary purpose is crowd control on Normal.

Throwing potions can yield quite a bit of gold when they are sold. This is an excellent skill for experienced players, however low-level characters might be able to appreciate it.
