Prior to seeing these lovely white, bell-shaped flowers, you might have thought you'd accomplished your goal of collecting every possible bloom on your island. I suppose you could transplant them from a friend's five-star island, but honestly, a fake five-star flower does not smell nearly as sweet as a real five-star flower.
Flowers appear at random throughout the game, but you will see your first one very close to the point at which you first earn a five-star rating on the difficulty level. After that, if you maintain your rating, you should notice that a new lily of the valley will spontaneously sprout up, usually on the cliffs of your island, about every 7-10 days or so, depending on the weather.

In spite of regular watering, the flowers do not appear to be reproducing on their own in the adjacent open spaces. Even though there are some varieties of the flower that are pink or have yellow or green striping, they are rarely found in their natural state in any colors other than white, as is the case with many other flowers. At this point, it appears that the lilies of the valley are only valuable as an ornament in the game. However, because they are so beautiful, we don't mind that they aren't worth much in the economy at all. It would appear that a lily of the valley is its own reward.
